Some of the reviews written by our graduates of our 28 day residential treatment program:
“I would give this place 6 stars if I could. I checked in broken and unsure if this was the right place for me. The staff that day committed to getting me help in one form or another, whether it was with them or not. During my stay they were able to fill some gaps in my understanding of addiction I failed to realize in prior programs. Groups are small allowing the staff and other clients to get to know you on a personal level. Cell phones and computers are allowed. We took daily trips to the gym as a core part of recovery. The site itself is tucked away on 12 acres with lots of space to get outside for fun or to just collect your thoughts. It’s not all fun and rest; you still have to do the work. However, I would highly recommend Sunflower to anyone looking to get their life together and free of addiction.”

“Sunflower wellness changed my life for the better. The staff truly cares about your personal well being, and the class structure is the best I’ve ever seen. My life went from being trapped and on the road to death, to being in control. Not to mention the food is phenomenal”

“Food is awesome! Smaller facility which I appreciate. Staff and therapists do care. You can take what you need and leave the rest. Would definitely recommend for treatment if you need a place with some freedom.”
– Anna E.

“When I came to Sunflower nearly 1 yr. ago, I had no hope that I could live a life w/o drinking. The staff taught me about my disease. They taught me I could live w/o alcohol. What an amazing journey my life has taken in that year since I was there. I still go regularly with my AA group to remember, see the great staff, and to tell my story to others there now. Sunflower didn’t “save” my life, they taught me I had a life worth saving. Through their program, the love & respect of the staff, and leading me to my AA home group, they gave me all the tools I needed. The rest was up to me. I honor them each day by living a sober life!”

“My alcoholism would have killed me. The care I received here has given me the tools to move on from alcohol. Thank you Maria!”

“It was an amazing experience staying at Sunflower. I was pleasantly surprised at the dynamic of this treatment facility. It wasn’t at all what I had expected. I would recommend Sunflower Wellness to anyone that is struggling with an addiction problem and has decided that they can’t do it by themselves. The staff is very compassionate and knowledgable. There is always hope and you can certainly find it at Sunflower.”

“This is by far the best center of its kind in the region. Results are what counts and they get results for their patients.”
– Justin P.
“I came to Sunflower Wellness broken and looking for help. I never thought rehabs would actually work for me. I came in thinking that I was just going to snooze through everything and come out feeling normal. Little did I know that this place would turn into a home. The counselors and staff truly care about each and every one of its clients. They teach you how to cope with previous life tragedies and how to handle any situation in the real world. I love this place so much and recommend it to anyone that wants a sober life. Sunflower saved my life.”
– Allyson W.
“Life changing experience if you are ready. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Gave me the understanding and know how to live a life without mind altering chemicals.”

“This is a substance abuse treatment facility that just opened on June 1, 2015. My 20 year old son, who had been struggling with substance abuse issues was lucky enough to be in the first group of clients accepted. I am so grateful to Joe Hammer, the wonderful director, for helping my son and never giving up on him. Joe Hammer has created the highest quality treatment facility available in the Midwest. The staff is top notch. This is like the Betty Ford of the Midwest.”
